Help baby Karmen survive!

This is Karmen who is 3 and was born with a problem in her heart, congenital heart defect. We discovered that her heart hadn’t fully developed; a normal heart has two ventricles and two atria. However, Karmen’s ventricles had a large hole between them, making them appear as one, and one of her atria was almost nonfunctional. This caused her blood oxygen levels to drop from the normal 95% and above to around 55%, affecting her growth and weight gain. As she grew, her oxygen levels continued to drop, necessitating two open-heart surgeries: the Glenn procedure and the Fontan procedure.

I am pleading for your help to travel to another country to perform the surgery so Karmen can live a healthy life. The cost of her surgery is 20,000 Jordanian Dinars, approximately 29,000 US Dollars. This amount is overwhelming for us as my husband and I both lost our jobs because of the war.

She had previously undergone a surgery called QLN (a surgery performed on patients with major genetic heart defects) It is also considered part of the surgical procedures performed to treat left-sided heart failure. The Glenn procedure is the second part of the series of procedures performed to treat left-sided heart failure. The procedure is performed on children between the ages of three and eight months, that is, when the lungs begin to mature to the point that blood flows without resistance and without the need for assistance from the right ventricle.She now has to undergo another operation called Fontan and this operation cannot be performed on her while she is inside the Gaza Strip and she needs to travel abroad to undergo it, but this operation costs a lot of money and travel is also expensive.

Please help her even a little so that she recovers and can live happily, safely and in health like your children and those you love. She is still a child, what is her fault that she suffers all this from war, starvation and disease. I can’t provide her with the proper treatment or food in this war. Please help her survive.
